Jack Herer Acknowledgements

Athens, Ohio-May 1, 1989 (Christian is 16 months young)

We first met Jack at the American Pipe and Tobacco Council Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada; May,1988.
Christian was 4 months young. Jack loved to discuss how we would train him on the information early.
He would carry on conversations while Christian stared at him and listened, totally interested.

There was no one like Jack. We connected in the first five minutes of knowing him. I wasn't afraid of his gruff manner, it taught me to speak up and get the information I needed to move forward. All of us hanging with Jack at those moments in time had a burning desire to work as hard and as long as we could to advance our goal of educating the public, make them aware of the truth so they could help change the laws obstructing us from utilizing one of the most "efficacious plants growing on this planet." Jack conveyed the information in a spectacular performance presenting truth that lit a fire in our minds and hearts that could never be quenched until the truth was known on a planetary scale and the prohibitionists stopped carrying on a war against U.S. The Drug War is one of the most treasonous acts ever perpetrated against the American People and the World. Freedom of Choice is Not a Crime. Freedom, Liberty, Health, Wealth and Prosperity are all satiated by the utilization of hemp and marijuana, freely, without regulation and with taxation the same as farm produce. No government has the right to obstruct U.S. from utilizing a natural plant from God that is not dangerous but healing to people and the planet. We still have a long way to go to abolish the longest running War against U.S. Will you help spread the word for peace? Abolish not Legalize. We're at another crossroads like Tesla and Edison. Choose Abolishment to get those f ers off our backs once and for all. Our persecutors should never be allowed to regulate us now.

The world's leading proponent of sane drug policies asks us to imagine a world in which criminal laws and institutions play a little role in drug control policy. What do we risk? What do we gain? What do we fear? And what can we do? This talk was presented at the 2012 Bioneers Annual Conference. Since 1990, Bioneers has acted as a fertile hub of social and scientific innovators with practical and visionary solutions for the world's most pressing environmental and social challenges. To experience talks like this, please join us at the Bioneers National Conference each October, and regional Bioneers Resilient Community Network gatherings held nationwide throughout the year.
